We are seeking a skilled API Engineer with strong expertise in Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure APIs for our enterprise applications in Irving, Texas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building microservices, integrating with backend systems, and ensuring high performance and reliability of API services. Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration with other services and systems.
• Optimize API performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.
• Work with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor APIs in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API functionality and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API development and Spring Boot ecosystem.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, JSON, and protocols.
• Experience with Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
