SNI Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Receivable (A/R) Data Entry Clerk for a Contract opportunity. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of clients financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming mail payments, including checks and unapplied route collections.
• Manage credit card, ACH, and EFT transactions: run charges, apply payments to customer accounts, generate and send receipts/statements and correspondence, and maintain accurate credit card binder records.
• Verify the accuracy of transaction file payment postings, updating Collections Log for discrepancies.
• Track route collections via Deposits in Transit reports, ensuring timely deposits and follow-up with branches as needed.
• Reconcile Cash Receipts with Deposits to maintain accurate A/R balance.
• Maintain Cash Receipts books for internal control purposes.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding payments and assist with payment tracking.
• Upload invoices to an EDI portal.
• Enter invoices and service tickets as required.
• Assist other accounting departments with tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail and strong accuracy skills.
• Proficient in data entry and comfortable using a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new processes quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to train the right person with the desire to learn
