Behavioral Health Acute Care Programs Manager
Our Client:
Our client is a privately owned nonprofit organization, chartered by the State of Florida in 1974. They are governed by a volunteer board of directors and operate programs licensed by the State of Florida. The organization is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and is dedicated to delivering high-quality behavioral health services to the community.
The Position:
Our client is seeking a Behavioral Health Acute Care Programs Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of all Adult Acute Care programs, including clinical, administrative, and supervisory functions. This is a full-time onsite leadership role with no weekend or holiday shifts required, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and staff development.
Compensation & Benefits:
~$80,000 – $120,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

Requirements:
~ Required:
~ Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
~1–3 years of clinical experience
~1–3 years of supervisory experience in inpatient programs
~ Preferred:
~ Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
~ Active Florida license (RN, LMHC, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist)
~1–3 years of mental health experience
Advanced knowledge of the acute care system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all clinical activities across Adult Acute Care programs
Lead weekly supervisory meetings and oversee treatment teams to ensure high-quality care and appropriate discharge planning
Monitor client flow to maintain effective utilization rates and continuity of care
Address client grievances promptly and thoroughly
Ensure compliance with all legal, UR, and Managed Care requirements (including F.S. §394)
Collaborate with the Outpatient Director and Facility Director to ensure smooth operations and facility needs are met
Direct staffing, hiring, orientation, training, evaluation, and scheduling for program staff
Conduct performance reviews and ensure staff complete required training and development
Maintain accurate and timely program documentation and communication
Serve as liaison with community agencies and participate in organizational leadership meetings
