Chemist/Toxicologist
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85007(Onsite)

Job Description:

Position Description
-Temporary six-month contract to assist with method development, method optimization, and validation of analytical Toxicology methods.
-Standard and sample preparation using an automated liquid handler.
-Sample analysis on Liquid Chromatography
-Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), Gas Chromatography
-Triple Quadrupole (GC-QQQ), and Liquid Chromatography
-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS). Data reprocess all data coming off of instrumentation.
-Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the methods being brought online.
-Write up validation plans, input data into excel, and write up validation reports.

Skills Required
-Pipetting. Troubleshooting.
-Experience with Agilent Liquid Chromatography
-Sciex Mass Spectrometry/Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), Thermo Gas Chromatography
-Triple Quadrupole (GC-QQQ), and Thermo Liquid Chromatography
-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS) analytical instrumentation.
-Experience with SciexOS, Tracefinder, Xcalibur, FreeStyle, and Chromeleon software.
-Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.

Experience Required
-3-5 years of experience working in an analytical chemistry environment.
-Prior experience troubleshooting and operating analytical instrumentation (LC-MS/MS, GC-QQQ, LC-HRMS, etc.).
-Prior method development and method validation experience.

Education Required
-Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, or Biology with at least 6 courses in Chemistry (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry or Physical Chemistry).
