Job Description

Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 3 years of experience completing operational or project based work and tasks. + Experience with security, operations management, physical security, risk assessments, vendor management and access controls. Preferred qualifications: + Experience in managing a contracted workforce. + Knowledge of physical security, investigations, compliance, or risk management. + Knowledge of current security technology including access control and CCTV. + Familiarity with Google applications. You'll collaborate with our Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies, investigate breaches and create risk assessment plans for the future. As a Data Center Security Manager, you will focus on executing tasks of a project with minimal escalation. You will manage the daily operations of vendors and serve as the next level escalation point for security-related incidents, coupling industry standard tools and current security technology to solve defined problems. You will use your knowledge of physical security principles to plan small-to-medium-sized initiatives by delivering value-added perspectives and influencing project direction. You will engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $83,000-$119,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google ( . + Work with Security Manager, support day to day management of the compliance, security, and risk management program at a Data Center or related infrastructure, including completing tasks related to site security incidents, escalations, guard contract management, and other physical security-related issues. + Participate in after-hours emergent, large-scale events. Implement Security Operations actions directed by the Crisis Management leadership team. + Implement established compliance processes aligned with policies, standards, guidelines, and relevant legal or regulatory requirements. + Participate in investigations related to Code of Conduct and other business violations including worker injuries and security incident investigations. Research and report on local factors for completion of Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessments (TVRA). + Understand security-related costs through budget, forecasting, and invoice control for the assigned area of responsibility, assisting management with financial analysis and input to financial decisions for security requirements.
