ABOUT THIS POSITION

learnallot.com is a virtual learning start-up that is building a team of educators who have experience teaching Math, English, Science, or History at the grade 6-12 or college level. If you're passionate about your topic and well-practiced in teaching groups online , then join our team as an independent contractor! You'll be able to:

• Earn $100 - 200/hr teaching (or more depending on how many students you're willing to teach)
• S et your own hours (a minimum of 1 hour per week is required)
• Control group size (YOU set how many or how few students you are willing to teach)
• Boost your online presence (we will create your very own employee page AND advertise for you)
• Get in on the ground floor (you'd be joining our founding team of teachers)

QUALIFICATIONS

• One of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, History, Math, or Science Education, or,
  • An equivalent level of experience in traditional OR professional education
• Experience tutoring or teaching groups virtually at the grade 6-12, college, or adult levels
• Experience using virtual meeting platforms and digital educational tools
• Strong understanding of the concepts related to your area of expertise
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
• Reliable high-speed internet connection, computer, webcam, and microphone
• Strong organizational and time management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's Degree or PhD in Education (or relevant English-, History-, Math-, or Science-based discipline)
• Teaching certification or licensure
• 4+ years of experience using virtual meeting platforms and digital educational tools
• Familiarity with common standardized tests (e.g., SAT, ACT, state-specific assessments)
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
