About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will serve as a leader in patient care, utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. This role involves delegating, directing, and supporting licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is key, along with taking initiative in coordinating patient care plans.
Responsibilities

Schedule and communicate with patients and healthcare teams efficiently and effectively.
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing team members while managing resources responsibly.

Qualifications
Education:
Required: Registered Nurse diploma.
Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
Basic proficiency in computer systems and healthcare software.
Certifications:
Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work with diverse teams and adapt to various patient care needs.
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
Occupational risk for exposure to hazardous materials and medications.
