Position Summary Reporting to the Group Chief Actuary, the Senior Actuary will lead Group Actuarial projects and analysis, playing a key role within the organization with high visibility among senior leaders. The position can be based in the New York metropolitan area or Chicago, IL. Responsibilities Lead and support special projects aligned with the Group Actuarial strategy. Manage Group Actuarial analysis and reporting, including ad hoc requests. Develop solutions to support and streamline actuarial processes. Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights. Collaborate across functions to enhance data utilization. Lead external benchmarking efforts. Work with global actuarial teams to ensure consistency. Embody The Ascot Way in daily interactions, promoting engagement, collaboration, and accountability. Requirements 7-10 years of relevant actuarial experience. ACAS designation required; FCAS preferred. Strong collaboration and business focus. Creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and business acumen. Proficiency in data analysis; experience with SQL, R, Python beneficial. Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills. Position may be filled at different levels depending on experience. Compensation The base salary range for this role in the New York Metro area is $205,000 - $220,000, with actual pay depending on experience and skills.
