Our work depends on a Senior ServiceNow SecOps Developer joining our team to be responsible for the development and administration of solutions within ServiceNow environments at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). You will work with team members, customers, and external vendors to identify, prioritize, and respond to threats against the enterprise, as well as identify and spearhead ways to streamline security processes and enhance threat detection and remediation.

HOW A SENIOR SERVICENOW SECOPS DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Support the development and configuration of ServiceNow tools to enhance the effectiveness and increase the efficiency of security solutions
  • Develop processes to improve data collection, analysis, and response within ServiceNow SIR and VR workflows
  • Identify, create, and execute test cases for ServiceNow and other software platforms, including the creation of automated security workflows
  • Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand and document business and technical requirements
  • Design and develop / configure workflows, forms, scripts and underlying logic using SCRUM / Agile methodologies
  • Participate in ServiceNow version upgrades
  • Offer solutions to address requirements, evaluate alternate solutions, and perform analysis to determine courses of action
  • Support projects while driving the design, creation, testing, and delivery of functionality
  • Create architecture, design, and user guide documentation
  • Support business growth and proposal teams by writing proposal sections, providing guidance, and contributing to the creation of cost and effort estimates
  • Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products
  • Maintain current ServiceNow/industry certifications, while obtaining additional certifications
  • Contribute to IT related, technical processes reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement
  • Create estimations on effort required to produce ServiceNow functionality.
  • Other duties as assigned supporting IRM work as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree (or equivalent experience)

Required Experience: 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow SecOps/IRM, including experiences as CIS-SIR, CIS-VR, and/or CIS-TPRM

Required Technical Skills:
  • Experience developing and managing SecOps processes for large (instances with more than 10,000 active users ), mission-critical government ServiceNow instances
  • Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test to integration to production deployment
  • Understanding of IT service management, SecOps practices, and common service level agreement measurements
  • Can identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams
  • Can produce level of estimates and basic deployment plans for ServiceNow functionality

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and can effectively works in a team environment
  • Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly.

The likely salary range for this position is $126,650 - $171,350. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
