Job Description

Overview The Graphic Design Student Assistant will support the Public Relations and Marketing Office by assisting with various recruiting and internal design projects. This role includes the responsibility of managing the "Stall Wall," a weekly college events paper placed in restrooms around campus. The ideal candidate will be a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for graphic design and effective communication. Qualifications

EDUCATION

Penn College student or other college student during summer currently enrolled in graphic design or related program with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Required ABILITIES AND SKILLS Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Required Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. Required Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Required Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Required Creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Required Responsibilities Design Projects: Assist in the creation and design of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and other promotional items. Stall Wall Management: Design and update the "Stall Wall" weekly college events paper, ensuring timely distribution and engaging content. Collaboration: Work closely with the Public Relations and Marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas for various projects. Feedback and Revisions: Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve design work. File Management: Organize and maintain digital files and assets related to design projects. Physical Standards and Special Job Features None Pay Transparency Hourly rate is $10.00.
