Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Synon Developer with hands-on experience in CA 2E (Synon/2E) , IBM iSeries (AS/400) , and RPG programming . The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise applications built on Synon, supporting business-critical functions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth operations and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using CA 2E (Synon/2E) and RPG (RPGLE, CLLE) on the IBM iSeries platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimization.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
• Work with business analysts, QA teams, and project managers to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Document all development and change management activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience in CA 2E (Synon/2E) .
• Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment.
• Proficiency in RPGLE , CLLE , DDS
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change control processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
